May 26, 2010 more than 300 middle and elementary school students celebrated the end of another great year in Teen Zone and Kid Zone programs. The students were treated to track tours at Daytona International Speedway, the IMAX movie at the Daytona 500 Experience, courtesy of International Speedway Corporation. The celebration culminated with dinner served in the Bill France Room, courtesy of Sodexo.  It was a very unique experience for the students, and one they will long remember.

Forough Hosseini, founder of Food Brings Hope, recognized two students from each school with citizenship awards for exemplifying a positive attitude, cooperation, respect, attention to schoolwork and good behavior. They included: Cayla Cue and Valmeika Willis, Campbell Middle; Markila Brooks and Tay Whiters, Hinson Middle; Brian Dunn and Jessica Catalo, New Smyrna Middle; Damian Dixon and Payton Sims, Osceola Elementary; Shayla Campbell and Tra’von Davis, Westside Elementary; and Joseph Diflumera and Katrice Miller, Turie T. Small Elementary.
