Sofia Rivas, VCan Assistant Director

As a recent Florida State University graduate and former Student Government President at Daytona State College, Ms. Rivas has a committed desire of giving back to the community. While she advocated and supported student initiatives on campus, Ms. Rivas also served as a former volunteer for Food Brings Hope in the Adult Literacy Program in Pierson. Ms. Rivas hopes to bring awareness about local community resources and is excited to make a difference in Volusia County. She will be supporting Food Brings Hope and the VCan Helpline that aims to eradicate youth hunger and homelessness.
