Food Brings Hope, Inc. founded in 2007 by local businesswoman, Forough B. Hosseini, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing collaborative solutions for families with children who experience hunger due to homelessness, poverty, or unfamiliarity with community resources. Unfortunately, there are more than 2,300 homeless children attending Volusia County Schools.
Hope for our community's children depends on our capacity to meet their most basic needs, starting with a nourishing meal. With the basics in place, every child has an opportunity to fulfill their potential. We currently touch more than 1,000 students throughout 23 schools in Volusia and Flagler Counties through our school programs.
Thank you for reading our message, because that brings us more hope than ever.
Food Brings Hope is very proud and honored to be the only program highlighted in 2017 by the
