ERAU Basketball Game 2022
Daytona Beach, FL – On November 16, 2022, Embry Riddle Athletics hosted Food Brings Hope’s Kidzone, Teenzone, FBHonors, and Change the Code students at a Men’s Basketball game against the Flagler Saints. This evening made it possible for students to experience a live College Basketball game. As the students arrived, they were greeted by the Embry Riddle Women’s Softball and Volleyball teams that cheered as they entered the gymnasium. Food Brings Hope partnered with the Jersey Mikes, located in the Daytona Beach Tanger Outlets, to prepare meals for the students.
This was the 13th year that Embry Riddle hosted FBH after school programs at a Basketball game and the students were very excited when Embry Riddle made the winning basket leaving the final score 82 – 67. The students were given Embry Riddle spirit swag that they got to use during the game to cheer on the team and take home to show their families. In conclusion, over 300 students, sponsors, volunteers, and administration had the privilege of enjoying the game and making fun memories.
