I Like to Solve Problems - Wednesday, December 18, 2019

My name is Na'myah Plummer and I am in 5th grade at Champion Elementary.

When I grow up I want to be an engineer or a doctor. My favorite subject is math. I like math because I like to solve problems and have to think to work things out. Our Food Brings Hope program makes me happy and makes me want to come to school so I can stay after school and learn more. When I want to come to school, I do better academically.

This is my first year in the program. So far, I went on a field trip to the Christmas Show at The News-Journal Center and really liked that. But, I am really looking forward to doing my best for the rest of the year so I can go on our LEGOLAND field trip at the end of the year if I always try my best.

In 2nd grade we were able to work on a guitar during technology class. We had to program it in order to be able to play music on it. I would really like something like that for Christmas this year.

If I could give a gift to anyone, I would like to give a huge teddy bear that says I love you to my Uncle Chris. He is going to be away from us for a little while and I want him to know I love him.

Food Brings Hope is like family to me. I get to be around people I like, have snacks and go on field trips. I also get to make robots and compete in robotics competitions with my team.
