My name is Adalberto and I am in 5th grade at Blue Lake Elementary School. I also am in the Food Brings Hope KidsZone program after school.
My favorite subject is math because I love numbers. KidsZone has helped me do better in school this year because the teachers encourage me to always try my best.
When I grow up, I want to be a policeman because I want to help people in our country. I also want to give food to those who don't have any, especially at Christmas time. Food Brings Hope gives my family food every week which gives me hope. I now feel like I am part of something in school and in a club.
Food Brings Hope takes us on field trips and I really like to go to the museum where I learn about new things. In my first year in KidsZone, I have made a lot of new friends and get to do more things with them.
For Christmas, I want my sisters to come to my house because they live in Puerto Rico and that is so far away. I miss them.
