Staff Report

My name is Natalie Hernandez. I am 10 years old and live in Seville.

I have been going to the Pierson KidsZone Program for two years with my sisters and mom who comes to learn English.

At the beginning math was very hard for me to understand, I didn't like it at all. But the teachers and the tutor taught me how to work problems. Now math is still not my favorite subject but I am getting better in math.
The teachers help us with our homework and studying for our tests. KidsZone has helped me to get good grades and honor roll in my classes. Sometimes they have parties for us to celebrate good grades. I really enjoy these parties!

I like going to the Christmas concert. It is nice to know that people care for us. One of my favorite activities is the SunRail ride. I had never been to anything like that before.
We have an iPad for math and projects. It helps me because I can finish my homework and study. Some students cannot afford computers at home.
We also have some older students that come to help me with my science, which I like very much! Pierson KidsZone is a very friendly place to go and learn, and I really like it.
Thank you Mrs. Hosseini, Mrs. Winch, Ms. Oatis, Mrs. Thames and Mrs. Jones.
